Who we are

Sculpted Grounds is a hardscaping and outdoor contracting business operating on the Mississippi Gulf Coast (Bay St. Louis, MS). This policy explains how information you share through sculptedgrounds.com and our internal quote and customer-management tools is collected, used, and protected.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you submit through our quote/contact form: your name, phone number, email address, project address, project type, and any free-text description you provide.
  • Project information you share with us during a job: site photos you give us, measurements, and notes about your property.
  • Basic site analytics and session activity: page views, referring sites, device type, approximate region, and — on our paid-traffic landing pages (URLs beginning with /lp/) — anonymized session recordings and heatmaps that show how visitors interact with the page (clicks, scroll depth, form-field engagement). We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

We use cookies and similar technologies for basic site analytics (via Google Analytics) to understand traffic patterns and improve the website. On our paid-traffic landing pages we additionally use Microsoft Clarity for anonymized session replays and heatmaps so we can see which sections of the page are working and which are confusing. Clarity does not capture sensitive form input (e.g., phone numbers or email addresses are masked by default). You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

We do not collect payment card details on our website. Any deposits or invoices are handled directly through QuickBooks, which has its own privacy practices.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry and prepare a quote.
  • To send you the estimate, schedule a site visit, and follow up about your project.
  • To create a customer record for invoicing if you decide to hire us.
  • To improve the website and understand which content is useful to visitors.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with marketers or data brokers. We do not use it for advertising on other websites.

Service providers we use

To run the business we use a small set of well-known service providers. Each handles only the data necessary for its specific role. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle your information:

  • Intuit / QuickBooks Online — customer records, estimates, invoices, and payments.
  • Google Workspace (Sheets, Maps, Analytics, Ads) — internal recordkeeping for new leads, mapping for service-area features, site-traffic analytics, and the paid advertising that drives traffic to our landing pages.
  • Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session replays and heatmaps for our paid-traffic landing pages, used to improve page design. No personal data is captured; sensitive form fields are masked by default.
  • Resend — sending transactional email (quote confirmations, project communication).
  • OpenPhone — customer phone calls and SMS.
  • Vercel — website and admin-tool hosting.

These providers are contractually required to keep your information confidential and use it only on our behalf.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the personal information you share with us — including authentication on our internal tools, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and limiting access to authorized personnel. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep it

We keep customer records for as long as needed to service your project, fulfill warranty obligations on workmanship, and meet our tax and accounting record-keeping requirements. After that, we delete or anonymize records on a regular schedule.

Your choices

  • You can ask us to send you a copy of the personal information we have about you.
  • You can ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
  • You can ask us to delete your information, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
  • You can ask us to stop sending you marketing communications at any time.

To make any of these requests, email contact@sculptedgrounds.com. We will respond within 30 days, or as required by applicable law.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our tools and service providers change. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on this page; minor wording fixes may not be.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, USA.
