Deck Repair, Stairs & Fencing in Bay St. Louis, MS
Licensed Mississippi Residential Remodeler building the wood side of the yard — deck repair, new stair runs, fencing, and gates across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Horizontal picket fence with trim and cap
1 / 4Salt air and standing humidity are hard on exterior wood here. Stair stringers rot from the bottom up where they meet the ground, fence posts loosen in saturated soil, and deck boards cup long before the framing gives out. Most of what we get called for is a structure that is still sound underneath and needs the failed pieces cut out and rebuilt properly — not a teardown.
Sculpted Grounds is a licensed Mississippi Residential Remodeler, which is the credential this work actually requires. The same crew that sets your patio base builds the fence that closes it in, so there is one contractor on the job and one number on the contract.
Every project starts with a free site visit. We look at the framing, not just the surface, and quote fixed.
What We Build
Deck Repair
Rotted boards, loose railing, failed fasteners, and sagging framing on existing decks. We pull what is bad, check the structure underneath, and rebuild it to carry weight again.
Deck Stairs
New stair runs built onto existing decks — cut stringers, solid landings, and even risers. The most common failure point on a Gulf Coast deck, and the one worth fixing first.
Wood & Picket Fencing
Horizontal picket, privacy, and decorative fencing with trim and cap. Posts set in concrete deep enough that wind and saturated coastal ground do not walk them out of plumb.
Gates & Hardware
Wood and metal gates hung on the fence line — squared, braced, and hung on hardware sized to the panel so the gate still latches a year later.
